Octavia
Octavia is known for her joyful, decorative style and instinctive use of colour, pattern and texture. After studying History of Art at the Courtauld Institute, she trained with some of the country’s leading decorators before founding her studio in 2018. She is currently recognised by House and Garden as one of the Top 100 Interior Designers in the UK and by Country and Town House as one of the Top 50 Best Interior Designers.
Her projects span town and country, from a London pieds-à-terre to Grade 1 stately homes, Octavia works across residential and commercial interiors, bringing the same thoughtful eye and relaxed, personal approach to every brief.
Growing up Octavia was surrounded by art and antiques which shaped her love of beautiful, well-made things. Today, she combines that sensibility with a fresh, light touch to create homes that feel warm, individual and quietly expressive.
In 2022, she launched her debut collection of fabrics and wallpapers, drawing on her archive of vintage textiles, ceramics and favourite objects. Each design reflects her enduring belief: that the most beautiful homes are those that feel lived in and loved.

Octavia’s interiors are joyful, layered and richly detailed – but never overdone. She treats each room like a composition, blending colour, shape and texture to create something that delights the eye. She enjoys mixing furniture styles, using antiques for depth and character alongside contemporary pieces and bespoke upholstery. The result is a natural, eclectic elegance – never too polished, and always inviting. Her style is rooted in the decorative tradition but also that feels both current and timeless.

Octavia’s process is collaborative and intuitive, grounded in curiosity and care. She takes on a small number of projects at a time to give each one the attention it deserves. Working closely with trusted craftspeople, trades, and artists, Octavia guides each stage of the process – from initial concept and space planning to the installation. Her studio offers both full-service design and one-off consultations, depending on your needs.
