18th Century Chair

A wonderful pair of English 18th century arm or elbow chairs with cane seats. Originally decorated with rosewood trompe l’oeile and gilding which is still very much visible, these chairs have over the years succumbed to a long life lived well. Completely original frames which are sturdy and in good condition, with caning that is likely more recent. Would benefit from a squab seat cushion which we can of course have made if required.
