Ban Chiang Vase
VA-02
This striking Thai Ban Chiang pottery vase, is a typical example of the red-on-buff pottery found in burial sites first discovered in the Ban Chiang region (present day Udon Thani province in Thailand). These vases were made without the use of a wheel and has been hand painted with a floral motif. I’m not sure we would recommend use it as a vase, but it certainly is an extremely decorative, object.
