A rather wonderful brass chinoiserie wall clock, circa 1720 (movement 185-1860).
12¼-inch dial with pewter chapter ring with the dial centre and surround embossed in brass with serpents and flowers on a matted ground.The fusee movement has been recently serviced, and comes complete with anchor escarpement, key and striking bell. On the back of the case there’s a makers plaque of ‘Percy Webster’
