Samson Iznik-style Medicine Jar

An Iznik-style medicine jar produced by the famous Samson workshop, founded in 1845 in France by the father and son duo Edme and Emile Samson. The workshop was famed for producing extremely high quality imitations of Antiques, so much so that they had to be distinctly signed, like this one, to avoid confusion with a genuine object from the period.
