Rambling Rose

EB-03

£20 – £114

Rambling Rose was created in collaboration with natural pain manufacturer Edward Bulmer, inspired by a hand-mixed colour from Octavia’s parents’ home. Capturing the delicacy of rose petals in paint is surprisingly difficult: flowers are seen in daylight, which is considerably cooler than normal interior light, so translating their colour successfully indoors requires a little sleight of hand. A touch of blue gives Rambling Rose its subtle coolness, while red ochre brings an earthy warmth to this pretty, pale pink. Sitting somewhere between pink and neutral, it has enough colour to hold its own across walls but also makes a particularly lovely trim alongside floral and geometric wallpapers.

Available as emulsion, water-based eggshell, and water-based gloss.

The English Garden Palette is a collaboration between Octavia Dickinson and Edward Bulmer.
